Indirect Buyer (Contract 6 months)

Responsibilities:

• Raising and placing of orders from individual requisitions for indirect components and services i.e. consumable parts, spare parts, made to order both local & oversea, equipment, machine etc.
• Controlling of stock levels and reorder points for consumable parts which normally using for manufacturing process.
• Obtaining costs reductions.
• Prepare enquiries and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Record accurate information and prepare timely reports as necessary.
• Source new suppliers both local & oversea for new components and processes.
• Carry out expediting of orders and enquiries.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding costs, lead-times, and payment terms.
• Liaise with Engineering and Quality Department personnel to develop and procure components that satisfy the relevant engineering and quality requirements.
• To make purchasing decisions for sound economic and commercial reasons.
• Ensure that requirement deadlines are achieved.
• Report to Procurement Category Manager -Indirect any concern that may affect production being maintained in Triumph Thailand.
• To work in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
• Follow company’s rules and standard document.
• Ensure to maintain the 5S, housekeeping.
• Complies with applicable SHE legal and other requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics or related fields.
• At least experience 1-2 years in Purchasing, Marketing, Production Control. New graduated are welcome.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Good command in written and spoken English
• Negotiation and Interpersonal skills are required.

Working Day: Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00
