Music Teacher

This is a full-time teaching position in our Secondary Science department, with responsibilities that include instructing AP courses such as AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students according to the set curricular standards while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment rooted in the love of Jesus for all children.

Other duties include, but are not limited to:
-Leading Chapel or SEL lessons
-Supervising students in various contexts
-Attending and contributing to departmental and whole-school meetings
-Collaborating on a variety of school improvement initiatives
-Corresponding with parents, colleagues, and administration
-Engaging in regular professional development opportunities

Qualifications
-A bachelor’s degree in science education or science-related field
-Knowledge of best practices in the instruction of science to secondary students and familiarity with the Next-Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
-Experience teaching AP Science courses (preferred) and a deep scientific knowledge base for applying complex scientific processes and principles.
-A valid teaching license (preferred)
experience working with older children in a classroom setting.

-English as a first language.

Compensation
-Starting yearly salary of around ฿530,000-฿1,000,000+. Salary increases according to and depending on type(s) of degree(s), teaching certification, pre-ICSN experience, and years of experience at ICSN.
-Annual benefits include airfare stipend, housing stipend, quality health insurance (for employee and dependents), provident fund, and more.
