Wide Eyed Tours & Travel is an exciting and growing travel company based in SE Asia with its head office in Hoi An, Vietnam, and branch offices in Hanoi, Bangkok and Siem Reap.  The company has been operating for nearly 20 years and has now returned to its pre-Covid strength and is growing by the day.  We are looking for a number of Personal Travel Assistants (Sales) to join our team in Thailand to create holidays for our clients who primarily come from Australia, New Zealand, UK, Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates.

This is a busy support role in a friendly and inclusive team that works together as a close family.  Everyone takes good care of each other.

You will design itineraries and select the most suitable accommodation and activities for each client according to their request. You will calculate the costs of each package which will include some or all of these items – transport, accommodation, activities and guides.  You will also conduct hotel inspections from time to time because it is important that you are familiar and understand which accommodation is perfect for which client. The Thailand team is currently small but growing so we do not have the need for a physical office yet. Each team member works from home, however all are based in Thailand.

Once the itinerary is prepared and accepted by the client, supported by our Operations team you will assume the responsibility of booking all the required services, through our partner suppliers.

During your client’s travel within Thailand, you will maintain regular contact to ensure they are enjoying their holiday and to reconfirm all arrangements.

The hours are very agreeable and flexible – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and if there is work to be done, then time will extend until it is finished. You will need to provide your own computer / laptop. You will receive an allowance to cover any required communication expenses. Our Thai staff members are currently working from home until we expand and establish a physical office.

Who are we looking for?

You will be a motivated person with amazing attention to detail, consistent and can handle pressure.  A cheerful disposition is valued at our company along with a strong work ethic to get the job done.  To work with us you will need to have all of these skills:

Computer skills – including Google Workspace, Gmail, Spreadsheets
Excellent English skills, particularly written as all our client communication is done via email
Well organized
Attention to detail
Team player but able  to work independently without constant supervision once adequately trained
A willingness to learn and improve your existing skills during and after training
Previous sales experience would be an advantage

Priority will be given to candidates who have travel experience or working in the tourism or hotel industry


Base Salary: Dependent upon the applicant

Commission: 4% of the profit from the tours you operate

Training: 1 week on-site training followed by 2-3 months probationary ongoing training

Travel Allowance: When work and/or training is required in another part of Thailand, these expenses will be covered by the company.
