THE OPPORTUNITY
Our partner is a top Australia-based leading in dev eloping web applications for Workers Compensation. First for Injuries, then for Premiums, then for Claims and now a fully national suite with all of this information combined. Their product suite of tools makes it simpler to manage complex tasks. They add power to your risk management systems.
Their Business Services Delivery department is actively focused on building web. Currently, they are looking for a Python Developer to join the software engineering team to create modern digital software products. The team uses cutting-edge technologies to build high performing, scalable cloud-based solutions in a safe, secure, and agile fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend development in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, LESS, jQuery, Jinja Templates
- Backend development in Python, Django, NodeJS
- Report development using Pentaho BI and SQL, PostgreSQL
- Data transformation using Pentaho DI, JavaScript and SQL
- Template development using HTML, JavaScript and SVG
- Work with the software development team to ensure delivery of high quality software within defined timelines and budget
- Participate in code review processes
- Functional testing on development and staging environments
Skills, Experience & Qualification
- At least 5+ years’ experience in similar role
- Experience in Python (Django), NodeJS
- Have experience in Front-End Development using HTML, CSS, Javascript, LESS, Jquery
- Experience using SQL relational databases, PostgreSQL preferred
- Experience with PentahoBI/PowerBI
- Experience in Functional testing/Intergration Testing is a plus
